Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity has a great project going on in Richmond - a “Delegates Better Halves Build” project, including spouses of Virginia’s Delegates and our supportive significant others who are committed to not only financing the home but also to putting our own muscle into the house build. The soon-to-be homeowner has worked for 30 years but now has a disability. Currently she rents a small home where she lives with her 83-year-old mother and 14-year-old grandson.

This project is a bi-partisan build being spearheaded by Amy Frederick, better half of Delegate Jeff Frederick (R) and Rose Ann Janis, better half of Delegate Bill Janis (R), and Ashley Peace, better half of Delegate Chris Peace (R). Delegate Jennifer McClellan (D) has also pledged to assist with our raising of support.
