Thinking of Sitting Out This Fall?
Please don’t. I’m speaking to my fellow Republicans who say “I could never vote for (Romney/McCain/Giuliani).” Here are a few reasons why a vote for any of those three would be better than staying home.
Radical Islamic Terror; Nationalized Health Care; The Fairness Doctrine; and, just basically, Those Awful People.
Check out those links. If you like, go check out DailyKos or MyDD. Don’t tell me “it won’t make any difference” if you just stay home and don’t vote. Sure, work for your favorite candidate and list reasons why you don’t like the others. But this fall, vote Republican.

The reason why I would sit out the election in the fall would be in protest of John McCain, if he is the eventual nominee. I think politicians should stay true to their values. McCain is liberal lite, and I would rather support a third party over him. However, I am concerned about party unity, and I feel that many Conservative republicans will sit this election out in protest. McCain has already created division within his party, but only he can unite us if he reaches out to compromise on certain issues. If he does this, then I will support him.
